There are only a few tickets left! The stars and residents of Northern Palm Beach County will be out in droves for this highly anticipated event that will essentially bring forth the rite of passage to a man who is well respected and loved across the educational and county spectrum.  Joined by his celebrity friends and family, Palm Beach County’s own, Dr. Edward Michael Eissey, will be roasted and honored as the First Principal of Palm Beach Gardens Community High School.  Hosted by PGA National Resort and Spa on Saturday, March 8th, 2014, Dr. Eissey will subject himself to some fun, humility, and a Roast.  All proceeds will benefit the Five Star Magnet Program at Palm Beach Gardens Community High school.  In a beautiful setting at the PGA National Resort and Spa, the “Man of the Hour” will be humorously honored by some of his “closest friends”.  This evening promises to be a beautiful tribute with lots of laughter for a man we have all come to know and love.

Longtime broadcaster Bob Nichols will serve as the Roast Master of the evening along with a powerhouse roasting panel including:  Dr. Eissey’s long-time friend and Jupiter’s own Burt Reynolds; Karen Marcus, former PBC Commissioner and member of the first graduating class at PBGHS; Pastor Tom Mullins; Gator AD Mickey Neal; and in attendance, Tucker Frederickson, a long-time North Palm Beach resident and former NFL running back for the New York Giants.  Other confirmed roasters and special guests will be released shortly.

Dr. Eissey was the first Principal of Palm Beach Gardens Community High School in 1968.  He has worked for 49 years in Palm Beach County’s educational system and has impacted the lives of many students in our schools. He started his career as a teacher and principal, and then became President of Palm Beach Community College.  Dr. Eissey also served as an elected official for North Palm Beach starting in 1998.  He served 4 terms as Mayor of North Palm Beach.

This event will start with a cocktail hour and silent auction at 6:00 pm and a dinner reception at 7:00 pm. Entertainment will be provided by the Palm Beach Gardens Community High School Jazz Band and Choral Group Pizzazz.

Tickets for the event are $95.00 and are available at www.PBGHSevents.com .  Gold, Silver and Bronze Sponsorships are available for company recognition at the event, on the school’s website, facebook, etc., which also includes complimentary tickets.
