Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members at Palm Beach Gardens High School took  over Grove Park Elementary to spread some holiday cheer to 230 kindergarteners and first  graders. Once FBLA members arrived, they separated into different classrooms and had the children participate in activities from games to arts & crafts, as well as a very special visit from Santa.

The first graders had fun playing games such as bingo, pin the star on the tree, and building a snowman. As for the kindergarteners, they were participating in activities such as creating gingerbread men and making Christmas trees and reindeer hats. While busy with the various activities, the students had an unexpected visitor stop by their classrooms with a present for each child consisting of a toy and clothing.

The Palm Beach Gardens High students took much pride in choosing the perfect gift for the child’s name they had selected.  According to Tammy Skinner,  FBLA Advisor, “In the end, the FBLA students of Palm Beach Gardens High School left feeling great about leaving a lasting impression and making a real difference in the lives of the students at Grove Park Elementary.”
